Oil Painting Class

November 16 @ 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

Just for Fun Paint Class! The $20 class cost includes all paint supplies. All students should bring a roll of paper towels. Please bring lunch! Registration deadline is November 12th.

Paint Party with A.B.C.

November 17 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm

For ages 10-17. Learn how to relieve stress and express your emotions at this fun party with the Anti Bullying Club. This fun and supportive atmosphere is a great setting for new friendships. Be sure to wear something you don’t mind getting messy! Saturday, November 17, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.                                                                                                               Hopewell Community Center. Free.                                                                                                                       Registration ends November 10.  

Basic Kayaking Skills

November 17 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

For ages 10+. Participants will learn all of the basic skills needed to safely enjoy river kayaking including launching the kayak, kayaking strokes, recovering from an overturned boat, and more. The program will be held in the controlled environment of the Hopewell Community Center pool. Equipment will be provided. Saturday, November 17, 2:30-4:30 p.m.Hopewell Community Center. $5/resident. $10/non-resident.Registration ends November 14.    

Big Foot Night Hike

November 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

For ages 8+. Participants will hike by flashlight in search of tracks from deer, raccoons, turkeys, and maybe even Sasquatch. Flashlights will be provided. Saturday, November 17, 6-8 p.m.                                                                                                                               Atwater Soccer Complex. $5.                                                                                                                               Registration ends November 13.  

Beginner Archery

November 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

For ages 10+. NASP certified instructors will teach the basics of target archery, including range safety and proper technique.   Participants will learn to shoot recurve bows, compound bows, and crossbows in a controlled environment. Equipment will be provided. Monday, November 19, 5:30-7:30 p.m.                                                                                                             Hopewell Community Center. $5.                                                                                                                         Registration ends November 16.    

Small Business Saturday

November 24 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  Stop by Guncotton Coffee and Gallery on Saturday, November 24th from 9am-3pm to receive FREE Shop Small Merchandise* for supporting our local Hopewell businesses! Bring a receipt from any locally owned Hopewell business to receive your FREE gift for supporting our local businesses!
