Thanks to the City of Hopewell’s generosity, the HDP was able to begin full implementation of its programming in January of 2012. Local government funding helps to cover a portion of our basic operating expenses, but as a non-profit, we must also rely on philanthropy, grant-writing, and sponsorships to realize our mission of a vibrant, healthy, and prosperous Downtown.
